(Though, there are side stories for each arc. I haven't read the novel from the beginning, but I might try once I've finished the entirety since there might have been details that weren't able to reach the manga. Anyways—it currently has 105 chapters, but seeing how chapter 11 of the manga is chapter 43 of the novel, I'd say that you might finish the novel fast.)
