Not gonna lie, this is not written very well. The pacing is overall weird at the moment. The little magical beasts are very adorable, but the characters thus far feel like empty husks. I'll keep reading incase it gets better but yeah, a little disappointing. Even the potion/elixir making scenes are more or less skipped, so you don't get to enjoy the mc's expertise.
