i actually liked the ending, baek baek made a promise to himself that he shall pray that in haesoo's next life he shouldn't have emotions for baek and if he even loves baek, he will run away, so he actually maintained the distance, an unfinished love story between a god who always waited for his lover's rebirth and the reincarnated ml who's now incapable of feelings emotions like a normal human being. ki da poetic ending, it definitely had potential of being a long story but the 7 chapters were full of elements so no complains.(づ￣ ³￣)づ
