I’ve been feeling major fatigue with how heavily dragged on some webtoons are. An arc that should be a quick 10-20 chapter side conflict gets stretched into a 50-70 chapter saga. Far too many chapters feel empty because half the panels are dedicated to gorgeous, vanity splash art or dramatic full-page portraits. Beautiful art is great, but when a weekly chapter consists almost entirely of aesthetic poses without moving the scene forward, it feels like filler. We waste so much panel space on repetitive flashbacks and internal monologues explaining things the reader already knows or things that isn't important. Often I found myself letting webtoons "marinate" because i am intrigued about the story premise, but the pacing is annoying and testing my patience.
