Pretty sure it's a cultural thing. I think slowly the perception is shifting, but it's still a big stigma in a lot of eastern countries.
I've never seen a manga or manhwa that didn't vilify an abortion, and I don't know that I've ever seen a character we're supposed to root for ever chose to have one, despite their initial reactions. They always change their mind if they're a "good" character.
That's why I m more pissed.
BL was supposed to break those norms. Boys falling in love was never and still not openly accepted in eastern society but these stories about them never stopped. So why is abortion villianized in these stories specially when most writers are women?
I love kids but at this point I really need a story where abortion isn't demonized and shown as actual healthcare.
There are so many toxic omegaverse but not one omega got an abortion r u serious?
