It's true that that moonjo did like seogeum and his stalking but he never expected seogeum to actually confess his feelings for him out of nowhere since seogeum is also a Christian like him and a loser.
So seogeum confessing his romantic feelings for moonjo shook him to the point of homophobia and sexual abusing seogeum for having a crush on a guy despite seogeum belonging to a religion doesn't accept homosexuality. If tae in was seogeum's teacher he wouldn't reacted the same way to seogeum's love as moonjo did cuz unlike moonjo, tae in is not homophobic
Mc does have issues. No excuses for his stalking but he doesn’t deserve this treatment he needs help. Not abuse. The past guy is a sadist. He secretly liked ukes stalking considering how he reacted when confessed to. Could have talked to ukes mom about the stalking and I’m pretty sure the mom would’ve tried to help but no he literally liked it bro!! He liked seeing uke stalk him. He waited to say those degrading words to him. He waited to make the uke cry. He waited. He was looking forward to it. Tae in also likes it too that’s why he does the same thing to him. The uke is vulnerable. His mental health is vulnerable. If the past guy talked to the ukes mom then this would have been solved. These two semes are trash.
