From what I gathered- the bit about Felly’s “wife and kids” was a (not very well) translated joke about the Buddha of fortune and the 2 lucky children he’s depicted with! So like he loves money so much the Buddha of Fortune and the lucky children are his “wife and kids”

it’s too early to tell but it’s weird that the story is pushing coco and felly together…. isn’t felly married to a wife and has kids? isn’t he supposed to be devoted to his family?
