pacing was a big issue in this story, but the ending seemed seriously rushed. what REALLY pissed me off is the fact that this had a "happy" ending. i feel like this was one of the worst possible endings a story like this could've been given. i honestly would've preferred it if that crazy white-haired guy died. or at least a bittersweet ending where they both go their separate ways. there's nothing redeemable about ML, why does he deserve an ending where they're both happy in the end? it all just felt so superficial and rushed... so many better psychological stories out there
