okay so if its a mono end (and not poly), then i believe it will be hokuto- i'm mostly going off of the author's recent statement about the ending being (paraphrasing) "its the kind of ending that wouldn't have been possible if all three of them didn't meet"; so if the requirement is that all three of them to have met, and hokuto came to like makoto specifically bc of how he looked playing with shusuke, then that's the one pair that requires the other ML in the equation (unlike shusuke and makoto where they simply liked each other, as is); its not the most solid theory bc it technically hinges on makoto being the one meeting them both, and not all three of them meeting, but that's all i got for now.
as for poly ending, i'm not entirely sure how i would feel about it until (and unless) it happens, but in my opinion it will feel unbalanced and less more like "three boyfriends" and more like "makoto and his two boyfriends"... which could be fine, i suppose ? anyway they're all cute, so i'm having fun anyway.
