girl if you are reading manhwa illegally then i'd say you are still boycotting it right? as for my opinion, i think nothing will change and it makes no sense to boycott the whole country, its people and corporations for a decision made by the government. are you boycotting the whole usa? probably not, right? even if you were, they aren't using coca cola's money for the war, you probably already know how much of the country's taxes go for military funding so there's no point in boycotting unrelated companies (some are directly related tho but that's a whole other issue) like this, same with south korea ig ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I get your point, but in the us, so many people depend on these companies to survive f.e: food, water electricity etc. All these companies belong to one big company (oligopoly) and all the money they get from selling their products go to the government (cus companies pay taxes) so in a way it's quite literally imposible to boycott in the US id say to find a reliable source of food like a local farmer (also sorry for my English lol)
It's so heartbreaking to see the current state of things even the main Muslim country UAE is not backing up Iran, the idf has already set up settlements checkpoints at the borders of Iran another colonization happening before our very eyes and there's not a damn thing we can do :(
As for boycotting sk stuff I don't really use many sk products besides the beauty of joseon sunscreen but I think I could look through the ingredient list and try to find another local product that matches it. But I won't stop supporting manhwas bcs the artists have nothing to do with the governments decisions and I've already spent waay to much on tappyto0n at this point
Guys, what are we thinking about S-Korea being dragged into US's one sided war on Iran because of Isrel? Cuz it would be a real shame for SK. I would definitely be boycotting SK, Nd that means k-skincare and manhwas ( I don't Wana . But I will) SK will have to shed it's neutral status and will probably be facing boycott from Muslim majority countries. Share your thoughts, i would love to know what my favourite community is thinking??
