It seems like a combo of contamination ocd and synesthesia, but more realistically, it's just looking like yandere manipulation. The author doesnt have to represent synesthesia perfectly textbook if the ML is also using the general public lack of knowledge to be manipulative to his benefit. It's implied that he's MCs fan with the random strange gift giver with long legs etc, so if he's daddy long legs I'd assume it's just some stalker yandere shit about not wanting other people to touch MC........... let's find out how wrong I am in a few months ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

I wasn't very into the story when i saw how cliche and unrealistically it was, but actually if it's all a manipulation strategy from a yandere ml then I'm quite into it, that'd be a way cooler read
it's a brain condition, kinda like face blindness aka it's harmless but people perceive the world a bit different from others, associating one sence with others when people without it don't. it comes in different versions, like for example whenever someone sees single digit numbers, they see them written in a certain color because their brain associates number 3 with green or something like that. it's actually quite interesting to see how it manifests for different people, idk if associating people at a glance to a smell (what it's depicted here) is something previously documented but synesthesia is very variated so it could be, but even then I don't think it's well represented here because my boy has werewolf sense of smell or something

Also I like to add truu the story felt clichéd and a bit fastpaced in just 2 chp for some reason, but I have a feeling the Superstar actor is actually a fan of Mc and is also the daddy long legs Fan.

I feel like that's not how synesthesia works. Like, it's when your mind translates senses and observations in different ways. like the classic "you can smell colors". It doesn't give you dog like ability to smell the fact that he was with others before, that just felt very alpha omega pheromone related.
also, it sounds like just unprofessionalism coated in cool cognitive phenomenon. Sure you perceive people as having different smells depending on other senses you pick up from them ilar firs meeting. Sure that smell could be disgusting, but the professional thing to do is get over it or only choose acting bits where you don't have to touch people or just change your work.
