I don’t think it has been brushed aside , Nanjo simply hasn’t noticed it yet , it will be addressed in the later chapters ig , I’m guessing Nanjo will flip out and then get angry at Mok and then feel guilty about it ( even though none of this is his fault) also I noticed Mok was wearing a wrist band to cover the cuts in the earlier chapters, so makes sense that Nanjo hasn’t noticed it yet
