Like Mokyeon may have had a sad sob story, but this is Karma in my opinion for the carelessness in which he treated others in relationships. The fact that he so easily cheated on his past relationships with Sunhwa and didn't give a F is now coming full circle with him a total mess in anguish because of feelings he has for someone he wants to be in a relationship with.
With Sunhwa I think it's karma too, he was a partner to Mokyeon in cheating previously, and now he was "betrayed" by two people he was having a good time with. He may not have cared deeply for Nanjo and Mokyeon was his FWB but he was technically being "cheated" on and I think it was his just desserts.
Now Nanjo is not innocent in this at all, he is also a guilty party but whatever Mokyeon did to him as an ass virgin and after definitely wasn't his version of pleasant so that's his own comeuppance since he agreed to this "contract"
