I know all signs are pointing to Jiseong being the old crush since he probs just dyed his hair and wore color contact lenses BUT hear me out what if in a wild twist of fate it was actually Jaeyi??

Jaeyi and Jiseong might've looked pretty similar back when they both had black hair + eyes and same haircut so Jaeyi would sometimes go to school pretending to be Jiseong who was sickly and couldn't (or don't wanna) go so on that day it was actually Jaeyi who talked to Ideum. That's why Jaeyi didn't show up to the graduation it was bc he was acting as Jiseong while Jiseong was probs at the hospital or smth. That's why Jiseong changed his appearance so he don't look too similar to Jaeyi and bc Jaeyi cut his bangs short we don't associate Jaeyi with the boy from back then. And to be one step more unhinged, Ideum is going to mistake Jiseong as the boy from back then and be confused with his feelings. Jiseong is going to take advantage of that to steal Ideum from Jaeyi. Jaeyi is going to think Ideum likes Jiseong and step back but it was actually him all along. Honestly, does Jiseong look like the type of btch who would read a book and finish his essay homework?? I think not. It was all a misdirection you see!!
