Nah, this was shit, actually. From the spoilers, I can tell that ML literally chose the other omega and left MC there to die. MC then fakes his death and moves to Canada, and only after ML thinks he's dead does he become completely distraught and start regretting everything. Like, are you kidding me? MC could have actually died there. ML didn't come back for him, didn't save him, and apparently didn't give enough of a shit to do anything about it. And yet they still end up together?
And yeah, I know there was a misunderstanding, but that doesn't magically erase what happened. You only regret it after finding out the person you abandoned is supposedly dead? If MC had actually died, would ML have suddenly killed himself and then we'd get some shit reincarnation arc where he spends the next life trying to justify what he did? He had the chance to choose MC, he didn't, and MC could literally have died because of that decision. Regretting it afterward doesn't undo the fact that he was willing to leave him there in the first place.
