Yeah, Compared to other MLs who are literally written to be toxic as fuck, I can see why people would consider him a green flag towards MC. He himself is definitely toxic as a person, but so far, he hasn't actually treated MC in that same toxic way. From the chapters I've read, he hasn't crossed MC's boundaries or forced anything without consent, which already puts him above a lot of these red-flag MLs.
And MC isn't some helpless damsel either. He's actually a power bottom and can stand his ground, so their dynamic isn't just “powerful toxic ML + helpless MC.”
