I honestly get it they were both in such bad places and too scared to talk until it really got out of hand. I see so much of myself in MC so my heart goes out for him but I can't deny how complex ml is and despite all the fucked up shit he did I feel like this is one of those stories that doesn't leave their actions stay without a consequence and actually puts him through it in order to get better. Trust is earned. And I love MC for finally standing up for himself. I can't wait to see how this plays!!
