also now JUST realizing that it is fully completed and isn’t currently still updating, since i’ve only been reading the most recent updates, i guess i’ll edit my comment once i read the true ending since I didn’t realize that was out
This story feels like it has dragged SO much, there’s so many chapters and yet so little has been accomplished, they haven’t even established being in an actual relationship.
Lee’s whole insecurities surround how people will see their relationship and their age gap, along with the whole taboo student/teacher thing, so I figured they would reveal their relationship to the brother and law and sister, solidify it somehow. That way Yuri could have some of his anxieties relieved from the fact that Lee would actually admit that they are in a relationship, and is confident enough to kind of ‘tell the world,’ But that hasn’t happened at all?? I’m hoping that it does before the end of the side stories, because if not, it’ll be a complete miss in exposition on the authors part. The whole point is that in order for their relationship to actually work and for Yuri to not feel so anxious, Lee needs to figure out how to deal with the fact that their relationship does have certain circumstances that make it societally unaccepted, and that people may look down on it.
In any case, I feel like the series has really dragged on, and the pacing feels super slow, yet nothing has ACTUALLY happened. Like, 115 chapters in and these motherfuckers aren’t even dating yet. Also, what’s the point of having the official series end at chapter 70 something if you’re going to have 30+ chapters of side stories, that have an actual effect on the plot. Especially when if you only read the ‘main series’ at chap 74, it would feel extremely unfinished.
