Girl I think maybe you need to tell the truth cause the way he's been acting these last 3 chapters is crazy he's talking about kill him, going to jail, and breaking things probably for your safety and others if you stop the lying.
Also I don't think the ml thought this through , I believe he thought he was going to be the only one in her life , but it turns out he realizes she can be with someone else if she chooses to so he having a psychotic break.
