Reading dark things doesn’t mean you don’t get to react to what’s happening to this characters. I think some people misunderstand when ppl get angry or cringe or whatever when their reading a toxic story and commenting their feelings, it doesn’t mean that they don’t know what they’re reading and just go read fluff.. it’s just normal reactions to fucked up story plots while still being engaged with the story.
I wasnt referring to those reacting but rather the readers who criticise the author for creating the story they chose to read or other readers who react differently than them
Before i say what i want to say why do people read something incredibly dark and then then complain about it being dark ?! There are so many fluffy bls out there but you choose to read this let people have something crazy for distraction from real life
