You can see Lucia's actually size comparison with her grandfather when she hugs him (and it says he's pretty tall). The size gap between the two of them seems natural to me (I've dated someone where we had a similar size gap)
And then you can vaguely get an idea of how much bigger Hue is when he's in the carriage with her grandfather (there's probably a better direct comparison, but that was the scene where I noticed it most)

What's up with the size difference between lucia and hugo???? after a few chapters hugo is just HUMUNGOUS and lucia looks like a FREAKING CHILD in front of him.
Petite doesn't mean childlike.
As much as I liked the story in novel form, this art is just so uncomfortable to look at.
