My cousin and his wife (also my cousin lmao) are technically, step brothers with a half sibling between both. The parents met when they were like... 10 They married when they both were around 12 and got a new baby like a year after that. Then when they were both 17 the parents divorced. Later we knew they were in love since both were like 14 but kept it a secret. They waited like 3-4 years after the parents divorced and moved on to let everyone know. At the beginning the "elders" were very much opposed and angry, but them my cousin got pregnant and they shut the fuck up. They have been together for 12 years already, two kids, love each other silly and awfully sweet to the point of giving diabetes.
I hope the author doesn't kill the parents and somehow they make it work. After all, they aren't blood related.
