You should definitely wait before reading the manga! I think the manga will be very good but there's just no way they can fit everything into the manga as it's route orientated and the manga is Ariake focused. But I definitely can see it tying some major spoilers from other routes into the main story here. Which could soil your experience playing the vn. So I highly recommend waiting! But the first chapter is basically covering the first bits of the prologue so you should be fine reading it for now
Ty for your input! Playing Hashihime blind was a jawdropping experience that made me fall in love with Kurosawa’s writing. Although this first chapter was fun, I will hold off now as per your recommendation !!
