i was originally confused why he would have such a weird cgarisma skill, and its so abrupt too (it didnt fit well with the other skills that got activated at the same time) while a charisma skill is no problem given the kind of life he was living until that point, the black dragon bit rly confused me...
then i got to the mage guy and realized, he needed that skill to stop his people-pleasing (old-man pleasing?) personality... as a burnt out work slave, i highly approve of this additional buff hahaha
