I expected too much because the title was so catchy and intriguing, but when I delved deeper into the story, there was nothing much beyond a plot heavily centered around non-consensual themes and Stockholm syndrome tropes.
I honestly feel bad for the author if they intended to portray something more than that. While reading, I noticed so many inconsistencies in the story, as well as how poorly some of the characters were written. I believe there was potential for something more, but the author simply failed to develop and convey it properly. Side stories are much better than the main story.
