Hmm I know everyone loves to debate on whether they forgive the mom or not (imo not my decision but only lilyca) but I do really love how complex and complicated the mom is. Without her past actions and how they came to this timeline, the story would've been really flat imo. It adds a very interesting aspect of the story and I feel like esp seeing it through lily pov rly helps put it into perspective. I mean, people can change right? I like the complexity.
