i really liked it and found it super cute! i found the couple lovely and the art gorgeous. my heart ached for them both at different point of the story and i'm glad they had their sweet ending.
i think the comments make it seem way worse than it is. there is no abuse, violence or sexual cohercion. yes the ml is a bit manipulative and lack communication but i wouldn't personnally call him a "huge red flag" or "trash".
i understand not liking the story but some people ony want to read morally perfect characters in fiction and i find it quite worrying tbh. i also think it's really weird to read an entire work that they judge revolting only to make sure to comment their outrage to prove that they are morally superior. i'm not talking about all negative comments, but when you judge anyone who liked it and use insults it's not with the purpose of sharing your opinion but only to belittle and feel important.
(and for those making comments about the ml being a "manwhore" or "catching stds" it's just so weird to read slut shaming in big 2026 i can only hope you're very young).
