Hmm yeah I’ve joined 2 discord groups now but it’s hard to apply because there’s many of us wanting to be a cleaner/translator. I’m planning to start alone like jujucat but how? Any advice?

how do they post office chapters exactly?? I’ve been so curious on how they make the translated version do they have to purchase the original manhwa and translate all the contents?

Scanlators acquire raw chapters (kr/jp/cn) and do all that work (translating, typesetting...etc). People like jujucat, bloomingdale don't do that, when a story releases and it gets official english translation, they upload those chapters here. They buy them or idk how they get them lol

actually, the easiest way to do it is just buy the official chapters from the legal sites and upload them like how juju and dale usually do (tho they do translate sometimes as well) but I'm not entirely sure how do they it, like how the process of getting the official from it. maybe u can message them for advice. other uploaders u can reach out is kaoru, siomaii, kookie. because being a solo scanlator will take most of ur time since u have to clean, translate, typeset and proofread the chapters (like that twitteringbirds say)

But anyway like I said juju and others dont scanlate so idk if they'd be any use to you. You can try going on mangaupdates since it lists inactive/actives groups, there are a lot there and I'm sure they have their discords to join, you can try your luck there.
