MC is a slut and conman for sure but I’ve always loved his character regardless. This chapter provided a lot of subtext for his behavior and honestly broke my heart. He himself has just been looking for someone to love him unconditionally.
I promise if you go back and read it again that the subtext has been there this whole time
I’m happy that this chapter plainly explains and shows why he is like this because I remember reading the subtext years ago and watching people in the comments not understanding why the MC is how he is. Like it’s not crazy that the heavily abused guy becomes hyper sexual as a way to feel anything, feeling like it’s the only thing he has control over.
That’s my pookie who acts like a slut because he doesn’t have any other ways to cope with his past abuse and I remember when people shamed him for it. Y’all better say you’re sorry rn
