I bet you that mage weirdo only said she was cursed because she’s meant to grow to be more powerful than he is. He tried getting her killed by telling her grandmother the prophecy and once her father passed, tried to kill her in the down low. Hateful prick.
Also why are people that surprised at the pairing? Did the setting lead yall to think they came from a time period where people get together when they’re only a couple of years apart? If we knew for sure how old they all were, at least there’d be something to talk about, but none of that has even been made clear. I bet you they’re no more than 5-7 years apart and he’s been treating her like he doesn’t see her as a woman even now that she’s grown. I hope they keep this slow and steady.
Looking forward to the rest. She reminds me of Yona “Akatsuki no Yona” for some reason. Hope she’s also fighter though since we haven’t seen her wield a sword more than once…
