Ok so after hs mitsuki and aya grow up, mitsuki gets into a band but she doesn't feel like herself and the angst begins. Aya surprises her by attending her concert but mitsuki didn't want aya to see a version that's "unlike" her so after that mitsuki gets into a slump and she doesn't play the guitar, everything is messy two girls get a crush on aya and mitsuki, mitsuki is really self loathing these past chapters and some relationship problems occur. The problem is that they aren't communicating about any of it yet and this chapter mitsuki clapped back from her slump and picked up the guitar but she immediately proposes to aya without solving any of their problems or heck just talking about what's wrong. So yeah it's very sudden

hiiiii was deciding to catch up after seeing the marriage proposal scene online (i paused after they got together in hs it's been a while) but it seems like everyone is talking about how the proposal came at a bad time, that there were severe communication issues etc.,
