ive probably reread this more than i can count and it never ceases to amaze me how well written this is. i’ve had my fair share of enemies to lovers trope on all different types of media but this one just sticks, i will never be able to describe it properly. but the story it sticks with you throughout, theres never a dull moment and scene, the plot itself progresses pretty well and there isn’t much of a plothole for readers to be confused by. but the most important thing is the chemistry of the characters, the accepted complexity in their personalities and how intertwined they are, like they are in fact actual enemies and that same tension and description they have towards each other is derived from that overtime as they realised they are somewhat a reflection of one another. hmmm if that makes sense, i’m honestly just basing off of the fact that their personalities were the same, compared to a lot of series i’ve read a lot tend to forget they were actual enemies, or that the backstory just ends up to a pity route and becoming biased/one sided (mainly mls lolol). not only that usually fls “strong-willed” personas tend to depreciate quickly throughout the story and become more tame. like here they’ve embraced each others flaws despite it being very hard to overcome (off-rant that’s why i find it funny when people say stuff like ughhh you guys alr like each other just say so! like did we not see why they are like that hahahah). but yes i need someone to thoroughly analyse this story, i just cant put my finger on it, i’m always pleased w the story as if i read it for the first time. another note, i saw some comments from other websites repeating that yoonsoo promised that he will only drink chae-ah’s blood, like no it was very clearly explained from chae-ah’s deductions yoonsoo ever made promises to showed his genuinity and reassurance to her because of all the distrust and she declined it and then said i trust you. which means that he did not make that promise and also we finally see that they know they trust each other.
