Came from the anime movie and OVA, stayed for the drama cds and manga...oh and the 10/10 deep storytelling, slow-burn romance/drama, boss x bodyguard/outdoor cat x loyal dog dynamic, the intricate yakuza plot, action and side characters. While our MCs are pretty hot, the art isn't my preferred style, but the framing, the pacing, the angles are where the real beauty lies anyway. This shot up my fave bls list like it was a firework. I'm surrounded by nothing but the remains of who I used to be before this manga, and now that I've caught up after binge-reading, I'm just so grateful to be alive to have read ALL OF THAT
