Our current mc doesnt hate her family but the only knowlegde of them is from the novel she read and in that she read that they hated her and found her to be a nuisance. Anyways, the Mc is going base off that and simply keeping her distance. Tho as she has watched their actions and found that this world doesnt completely follow the novel, she doesnt fully believe what the novel she read says abt them. She is simply being cautious which is fair I think.
Personally, I dont believe they hate og Villainess, i think theyre just awkward and not outwardly affection, probably a bit neglectful emotional wise. And then when she got entangled with the prince all they did was put out fires she made but never showed affection so for OG that read as distain and annoyance.

i like it so far but maybe its bc its too early into the story that its frustrating. like why does our mc hate(???) her family? is it bc her moms death had sthg to do w the emperor and she had to distance herself from everyone so that she could commit treason alone or what like did i read this with my ass i feel like im a bit slow im deaddd
i think the situation with crown prince is that she likely wanted him to like her then kill him but idk maybe the in-story novel was just a bunch of bs
