I think there’s a big difference here between this and Nano Machine. They haven’t said they love each other or vocalized wanting a relationship yet. For real life people, it fairly normal to have multiple partners before finally settling down. While the ghost is end game, there really isn’t an issue with him being involved with this other girl right now. Even when he’s with her, he’s thinking of the ghost… and going off of the other reply, the ghost is going to be in her body anyways, and the two are deeply connected. It’s almost like sleeping with only one person instead of multiple different people.
In Nano Machine, Mc goes so far as to have two wives and gets with that white haired lady (under desperate circumstances) after already confirming his feelings for someone else. It’s the same with the authors other work Absolute Sward Sense. He has a girl he’s already with and I think he ends up having two more wives.
Our crazy guy here is much better than the other two. I wouldn’t call the author a gooner though. That word gets thrown around when it really isn’t suitable. The author does have a track record and obviously likes certain tropes.

Meh i guess the author is truly a gooner. If he ends up with the ghost lady, after all that, i would drop it. The same thing he did with nano machine,by making NM mc slept with another woman despite him promising he will only love one and already has a girl
