I let this marinate and completely forgot about it- i finally come back and nothing really happened when i stopped reading- SO MUCH POTENTIAL- the leads i felt like had chemistry but they didn’t really do anything else with them other than get them in a relationship asap, and they didn’t really explain their pasts all too well, and when the ml left for 2 months thats when they should’ve done the chasing arc where he is trying to regain the mc’s trust, but it only lasted like a chapter or 2, and the ending was rushed, they just wanted to finish the story soon, I was ready for the mc to cry his heart out and for the ml to chase and fight for him but it didn’t happen and i got my hopes up, i reallllyyyy did enjoy it but so much more could have happened and the ending kinda fell flat-
I liked that they moved in together but they also never established their relationship with each other, also i was disappointed that there wasn’t any ‘I love you’ at all especially near the end or even where the chasing arc should’ve happened, the words ‘I love you’ would’ve HIT so hard if that arc happened, but it didn’t and that’s what made it so much sadder, a BL with amazing art and a great beginning, kind of makes me feel sad, I still enjoyed just but there was also a few plot holes and loose threads from both the mc and ml- i hope this gets picked up again even if it’s finished, but even for side stories to wrap everything up would be perfect and hopefully get an established relationship and at least some ily’s.
