spoilers maybe, what i remember is the emperor getting a piece of knox as well and when it's finally revealed that he was the one giving away information to the then-2nd-prince and not the servant/attendant both the 2nd prince/emperor and halid/ml felt super bad about the way they treated him and tried to give him all his titles and lands back but dude was so depressed by then he was literally done with life and tried to off himself before they could give him the news. did i dream all that??
