As a novel reader, if you don’t like MC now, you won’t like him later; the MC doesn’t really change much in that regard and it’s kinda deliberate.
Yangyang is a precious cinnamon roll who is too good for this world, and also pathetic little manbaby who cries quite literally every chapter. I stil love him though, and I usually hate crybaby MCs.

I mean he’s really just 100% a crybaby LMAO that is one of his defining features; but more seriously, the people Yohan ends up surrounded by in the story don’t discourage his gentle and emotional nature and deliberately protect him from The Horrors so he doesn’t get fucked up by the Abyss like they did.
