I was just thinking that! Like Mc joking about the ml idea of love. Like he didn’t sell out a whole team and get it disbanded including transfers school so the Mc could have a chance to play baseball. Like is that not crazy???? They barely knew each other realistically lolll
So he'd rather be seen as the villain and cause his team's downfall than see his teammate suffer and be injured in the long run. Yesol you modern day romeo, you've been denying every action and words as love but then you go ahead and make that choice, if that's not love then idk what is.
