I mean, I rooted way more with Yachiyo because I always felt somehow familiar with him, he was always lonely and when he confesses he chooses to accept whatever ouji decides. Ouji was so uncomfortable, he did dirty to both of them, to Kiyoto and to Yachiyo, but the fact that he never intended to break up with Kiyoto and to speak out about their feelings with Yachiyo made it clear that he really loved Kiyoto.
That's way he sucks, he never fight for Ouji to stay with him, they could've talked about it, and decided about the situation, after all, Yachiyo never intended to interfere in their relationship, but I guess it was the same with his wife, she was the one that professed that she should stay by his side, and he compromised with her, but not even two years and she gave up and Yachiyo ended up alone again.
He was my favorite characters in this, well, it was the only character that I liked while reading it haha. I hated him at first because I didn't realize that he in fact confessed his feelings and got rejected before marrying, so he wasn't a jerk.
