it's a korean bl manhwa that should be completed
ml is the king/emperor/ruler
mc is a distant family member whose family is supposed to protect the ml
childhood friends but they're also seen as family
ml is obsessive over mc and towards the end of the story there was an mc sick arc where his family had to beg ml to leave him alone...
does anyone remember this bl? im pretty sure both of them had short hair and it was based on the korean dynasty, but i don't think it was completely set in old korea (i don't remember, so don't quote me on this part i read it i want to say 3 years ago).
