1. it seems like the alpha already had feelings for the omega early on, like he gets jealous and wants to be with him all the time. and them the pregnancy made he realize and act on the feelings - the omega though i dont think he ever hated the alpha just was indifferent and thought he was hot, then they got prego and started to actually have feelings 2. amnesia plots are sooo stupid, this one is too. like whats the point traumatizing the children like they be like ya our dad forgot and left us bc he didnt love us anymore but its ok bc hes back now. 3. honestly the amnesia plot would have been good if the alpha always had like a crush on the omega but thought they wouldnt get anywhere bc he was a beta so when he wakes up with amnesia forgetting everything and then learns they are married and have kids, he is like overly loving and childish in the way he loves the omega. just being more open about how he is just so happy that they are together and stupid shy. Then the omega would learn like he has liked me for a long time and didnt just marry me bc i was prego yk and its a cuter plot, and more fun to explore then us having to read them fall apart after we just got the happy ending yk
