imma be honest. at some point i was reading solely for minhyuk. he's the type of character im looking for in a mafia bl-- an unapologetically selfish person. on the other hand, mc and taesung's dynamic is boring and uninteresting. given the black and white color palette and the cover art, i was expecting messy, angsty drama between flawed characters (the 3 in the cover) in a gritty mafia backdrop, but unfortunately it's rather boring and tame; mc is boring "feisty" mc who keeps getting himself in trouble, ml is possessive and dull, and minhyuk is barely relevant to these people. i dont see why mc fell for ml and vice versa. and when he was masturbating to ml after he lost his memories of him, yk after he had CONFINED and RAPED him, that was my sign to drop this. it seems this story thinks that ml regretting his actions and saving him at the last second is enough to redeem him. if mc was a woman, the reception towards the two would be vastly different.
