I do believe they get a low level ability to sense spirits or otherworldly entities, other than that and being resistant to charms it does seem to suck so far.

The grandpa kinda sucks, like his family isn’t very stable and he totally just abandoned them. They don’t even get good perks for being part dragon besides charms not working on them
