So, I want to get some clarification because this suddenly popped into my mind. If the current Holy Maiden is the 7th, does that mean the current Queen, the Crown Prince’s mother, was the 6th Holy Maiden?
And if so, are we overlooking the fact that, despite the kingdom claiming to cherish the Holy Maiden, they may only see her as a trophy to show off? The King had one, if not (and I’m just presuming, because it wasn’t fully clarified) multiple, mistresses and had Nox as an illegitimate child, and it seems like this is normalized or at least acknowledged by many.
So, what would stop the current Crown Prince from cheating on her once she is married to him? Especially after they have an heir that could essentially tie her to the kingdom, at which point her purpose would seemingly be over, on top of her role in suppressing the evil.
