The blonde girls father is not to blame for what Marilyn the mom did. He may have had a hand in it, sure, but he never murdered a noble mother by slowly poisoning her, try to cause the nobles daughter to miscarry, and he did not make the blonde daughter or the mother into the psychos they are. Even if he forced himself on her, which yes is a monstrous thing to do and Is in no way forgivable and he should be stoned in the street, that means he should be stoned for that, NOT for what the mother did after that. When the victim becomes the abuser, there is only so much linency you can give. If you slap someone and they turn around and stab you, you can't be charged for attempted murder like they would be. You may have started it, but they took it to the next level. Insane that this comic throws that down like some sort of moral standing. Yes he deserved to get tricked into outting the mother but to say he should "take responsibility for what he did" (the moms murder) when he claims she crawled into HIS bed (which can't be verified one way or the other but is still frankly irrelevant) is batshit imo.
Like, if she had become a common criminal stealing in order to make ends meat to feed her children after he refused to take his equal responsibility, I could see a very valid argument there that he is at the very least directly half responsible for her ending up in that life. But when she goes off the rails to poison her employer (for no real gain, btw?! She just did that because idk she was jealous??) And all the other stuff she did for once again, no gain, I'm sorry but he can wash his hands of that.
