Tbh, while my guess is the same as yours, even if it does end up doomed for them I trust the author would still make it worth reading. Like, this is one of the very few occasions with it being an extra AU and written by this particular author that I'd be ok with it. Not ecstatic, but still ok. T_T
There’s no reason for it to be doomed either way. Bittersweet at best. It’s just that people saying the main story being doomed and comparing the AU with no context or reason made me irked. It seems those people read the story with their assholes.
Guys stop saying it’s doomed yaoi BECAUSE IT’S NOT! They have a rough path either on original or AU but it’s not doomed. Stop spreading misinformation
