I agree! It makes so much sense that a pair like Gitae and Jihun wouldn't be a normal guide/esper. Even if this is doomed, it's still gonna be a great read.

I did NOT see this development coming, but it fits them perfectly! As painful and as dangerous as it is (and as happy as I would have been with a purely wholesome AU), it's a pretty perfect representation of their characters in a guideverse setting that I'm obsessed.
