fucking hell. FUCKING HELL. Why didn't Baekhee just give Il-Woo a chance to talk!?! I get he was hurt and desperate and his trauma makes him easy to fall for Gyeom's manipulation, but he could've at least talked to him before going off with that bastard. Baekhee was resisting until just a minute ago and he already knew all the stuff that Gyeom was gonna say to him, he'd heard it all before and that didn't stop him from holding on to his relationship with Il-Woo, even though he was still uncertain if things would work out. Even if he was particularly susceptible right now, it would make more sense to make up an excuse for the night to Gyeom and at least give a half-assed chance to Il-Woo to talk after coming back, before deciding if he'd give up on him and go with Gyeom. Yes yes, trauma paralyzes you, BUT HE HELD UP RIGHT UNTIL THEN! I think the author made a poor choice and the narrative isn't coherent. There were so many other ways to add conflict, drama and obstacles, but the fact that he didn't go back that night was bullshit.
