I think its because its really well written. the story starts off a bit slow but I think the characters are complex and their trauma is very realistic to how they are acting. but that's just my opinion
You honestly don't have to force urself to like it, psychological stuff isn't for everyone. If something I read isn't interesting 5 chapters in I would just drop it. But if u want a basic plot I can try summarizing it.
It's basic plot is just the bottom meeting an old high school friend at his work place that he lost touch with. But they have a connection bcs the bottom was getting bullied alot and the top would stay with him throughout high-school. The bottom hallucinated and was convinced it was the top that was getting bullied probably as a defence mechanism to help him cope with the past. Some bullies were murdered and that's when the bottom was starting to worry if the top could potentially be harmful.
The two MC’s are both unreliable narrators as the story progresses we pick up little clues to piece together the truth. I have a couple of analysis topics that cover some of my own theories.
Can somebody please explain the plot of the store to me? I don’t know why this BL is so popular amongst The BL community every time I’ve tried to read it. I’ve dropped it 10 chapters in. Can someone explain like the background of it and why it’s rated so high.
